Gianni Candido

Gianni CANDIDO

Since the year 2003, Mgallery is completely invested in the defence of the works of Michel Haillard.

In particular, the armchairs have largely been appreciated until now and may be this is done to their particular shape around the aspect of African animals.

They look like Royal seats for some Emperor just out of a legend around the Queen of Sheba.

Gianni Candido (Bastogne 1972) was fascinated by these pieces of furniture.

A former cabinetmaker, candidate in journalism and then computer engineer, he discovered one day the power of photography.

With determination and a good capital of self-control of his works he became a self-taught photographer.

He made some marvellous pictures of Haillard’s furniture, rare specimens of black and white photographic prints on de luxe paper.

It is like a look at the armchairs like in a mirror.

It is a gorgeous interpretation of the furniture and you may not pass by such a look from an artist over another artist, both with talent.BR>
